One of the very first milbloggers (and my personal favorite), died in Iraq. He left a note behind in case of his death here. There will be tears.

Yes there were, and will probably be more. I didn’t read him that much lately, but he was one of the ones I used to read every day when I still read blogs every day. I wish I could write like that.

He was one of my occassional reads, too.. until I was decoyed into the wilds of the 19th century frontier.
Dulce et decorum… even for someone elses’ country. Not surprised he was a Babylon 5 fan - in a wierd way that’s a show that speaks to us military and military veterans.
What a pity that Hollywierd can’t bring itself to do justice to people like him, except thickly disguised as science fiction.
