Another nice basket idea is to do a theme— when my elder older sister got married, we put together a basket for a romantic evening— stemmed glasses, candles and bases, a few goodies from Cost Plus (including little candies, "Passion Buds", because it was fun)... and no wine, 'cause that would be unappreciated.

If you're doing a wedding basket, look at the registry and get one or two of the napkins to line the basket with.

And if you're not up to baskets, try making a cookie jar, where you layer the dry ingredients in a pretty manner.</description>

					<description>What a great idea. My mom used to do that with Russian tea or chocolate chip cookies. I had forgotten all about that and was sitting here wondering what to do for some of my friends.
