I'm embarrassed for knowing this as well as I do, but Ray Krebbs was revealed to be Jock's bastard son toward the end of season four, not season eight.

Throughout the entire run after the season 1 miniseries, the writers seemed to do everything possible to make the viewer forget about the sexual relationship between Ray Krebbs and Lucy. It's never mentioned or refered to, though it's obvious that they have some close personal relationship that causes Lucy to go to Ray with important problems. It probably for the better. Incest was probably the bridge too far for Dallas.

I recommend the DVD set currently being released. I pretend not to like it as my wife buys each set the week of their release, but I "grudgingly" watch every episode.

I started to answer this, but my answer would have been along the lines of "the blond guy who was married to brunette chick was a dallas family member"

It's been so long ago I couldn't remember names, even of the actors, let alone the characters. :)
