I don’t know, Timmer – my own local Tea party seems to be morphing into a sort of clear-eyed centrist-king-maker kind of party. As in “show us your small-gov, fiscally-responsible, strict-constitutionalist credentials … and maybe our substantial numbers of followers will vote for you, irregardless of your stated party affiliation.”
But that only goes for the San Antonio Tea Party – I really can’t say about any other org that says they are Tea Party. It’s all a collection of cats. Independent and very, very angry cats.

Actually, I would LOVE if the Tea Party Movement turned into a third party of libertarians who weren’t anarchists or just plain crazies. I know…snowball in hell, etc.. One can dream.

Surely, at this point, you must realize that 98% of people are g–d—-d idiots. Who spend a lot of time watching teevee. They’re, at best, cannon fodder. Whose cannon fodder remains to be seen.
