But that doesn’t mean there won’t be some who dislike anything which smacks of impropriety as far as THEY are concerned…

Hear Hear, as a Civilian Mariner sailing with Military Sealift Command, oftentimes we have to hit the exchanges as well(mostly Navy). They often don’t have a good enough selection already (the one at “Tent City” at the Base in Djibouti is tiny enough), and deminishing what little selection there is is pretty bad. It’s all propaganda, anyway. The military org would LOVE to back this kind of tripe, because, well….you’ve seen what’s on AFN, right? It’s not about what our soldiers actually want, it’s about the image we want to portray to the public about what we should let them think our soldiers want.

Heaven forbid young red-blooded heterosexual males want to admire the female form. Heck let’s go the other way on this, as disgusting as I find such mags (probably as much as you dislike these), let’s allow Playgirl and the like into Exchanges, if only for the females.

Oh, and prepare for a Wizbanging.
