It Must Be A REALLY Slow Newsday.

The Fox Newbrief just now included a piece about a kitten stuck in a drainpipe in Miami. Oh, my world revolves around such things. :)

Tell me it didn’t get a SWOOSH! Fox News Alert.

  2. Sgt. Mom says:

Well, what about the kitten? Male, female, what breed or just a generic housecat, is it a feral or does it have an official registered Person? Gee, if you are going to post about this, you might as well give us the details and your personal and heartfelt take on it!

  3. CplBlondie says:

Aww poor kitty….I follow Mom’s sentiment on this one…we want awnsers damn it.

  4. Kevin Connors says:

I think our fearless leader had her tongue well into her cheek. But, in case I’m wrong, all those interested will find a full story, with slideshow here.

Some cat lovers may object to the technique used to extract the young kitty. I’ve always found that when a cat is stuck in a hole, throw it a rope, or anything else it can get its claws into. And then just leave. Eventually, the cat will get itself out.

  5. Sgt. Mom says:

Well, they do not find cat skeltons in the branches of tall trees… so it looks like the kitten in question is a ginger/white domestic cat, probably not feral since it has a willing human/sucker/provider of finest cat kibble/warm sleeping quarters already lined up… oh, and probably male. Well, it was already in the storm drain and wouldn’t ask for directions out…
and yes, it probably was a very, very, VERY slow news day.

  6. Joe Comer says:

Yes, Mom, I had the TV on in the background yesterday and there was NOTHING going on. They didn’t even have the MJ jury, because they went home early. Maybe the whole thing’s good, because they only report bad news anyway….I’m gonna be out & about today, so things’ll probably be poppin’!
