Run Fat Boy Run
“Run Fat Boy Run”.. another hilarious movie..
And if you’ve never seen “Shawn of The Dead” or “Hot Fuzz” (with the same leading man).. do so.. today. See them both so the humor of the first that carries over to the second is not missed.
My only complaint was that the side-kick from the Shawn and Hot Fuzz movies was not in this one. I got over it quickly with the first couple of laughs of Run Fat Boy Run..
Definitely on our “buy it” list.
I can also recommend “Tropic Thunder”, which is a hilarious send-up of every Vietnam war movie ever produced, with special attention to “Platoon” and “Apocalypse Now”. Seriously, Blondie and I were rolling, even at the extra features.
It’s one of those movies like “George of the Jungle” – which I went to reluctantly, expecting to have my intelligence insulted for two hours, but turned out to be really quite funny and very enjoyable.
