The local weather forecast for Friday is predicting a better than 50% chance of snow.
In San Antonio. You know, the cold white stuff.
Well, no one around here know it… they know of it, since they still talk about the last time it seriously snowed here…
Twenty years ago.
Seriously, I’ve seen the natives around here drive on wet streets during rainstorms. On Friday I will not be going anywhere.
I just may stay in bed, curled into the fetal position, with the electric blanket thermostat set to high.
(But you don’t have an electric blanket!)
Shaddup! For an occasion like this, I might very well go and buy one!
I have heard that the white curse is moving in to the Atlanta region later in the day Friday. I too will be Parked in front of the fire place
Richard, I only heard snow flurries – are they talking about real snow? (i.e. 1/2 inch or more)
Sgt Mom – if you DO get snow, I’m jealous. I missed the big snow of 84
I don’t mind snow, I actually kind of like it.
I don’t mind the cold, that’s what jackets and sweaters are for.
I do mind fact that mental abilities such as driving appear to be snow soluble in South Carolina as they seem to disappear when the white stuff comes down.
Yes I know I am a Damn Yankee (originally from northern PA). No I am not going back. I’ve lived in the south for too long, almost 30 years between MS, AL, FL, and now SC.
